1. Who we are
Finaxio is a personal finance app for Android, made by Bizzest Tech in the Lao PDR. In this policy, "we" means Bizzest Tech and "the app" means Finaxio.

2. What stays on your device
Everything you record — accounts, income and expenses, categories, budgets, goals, debts, repeating bills, transfers and receipt photos — is saved in a database on your phone. If you never sign in, it never leaves your phone.
Some things always stay on your phone, even when you are signed in:
- notifications read from your bank apps, until you add one as an entry (see section 4);
- your Workbench projects;
- your conversations with the Personal Assistant;
- your app settings, such as language, theme, background and app lock.
If you make a backup file in the app, it is saved where you choose to share it. We don't receive it.
3. Data collected when you sign in
Signing in is optional. It lets you sync your data between phones and keep it safe if you lose your phone. When you are signed in, we store:

| Profile photo | So it appears when you sign in on another phone. |
| Plan and AI usage | Which plan you have, how many AI requests you used this month and your AI credit balance — to apply your plan's limits. |
Each account's data is stored separately and protected so that only you, signed in, can read it.
4. Bank app notifications
Finaxio can turn notifications from your bank apps into entries for you to review. This is optional and is off until you turn it on. When it is on:
- The app reads notifications only from the apps you choose. Notifications from every other app are ignored and never saved.
- The text of each bank notification is kept only on your phone, to show it in your review list. It is never uploaded.
- Nothing is recorded automatically. An entry is created only when you tap Add, and it is then treated like any other entry you make.
- Notifications you dismiss are deleted from your phone after 60 days.
You can turn this off in the app, or remove Finaxio's notification access in your phone's settings, at any time.
5. AI features
Some paid plans include AI features. They are processed by Google's Gemini API, through our own server; your phone never talks to Google directly and our key to Google never leaves our server. Each feature asks for your agreement before it is used for the first time, and can be turned off in Settings.

We use what is sent only to produce your answer. We don't store the photo, the question or the answer on our servers; we keep only a count of how many requests you made. Google processes the request under its Gemini API terms.
Without AI, receipts are read on your phone and nothing is sent.
6. Purchases
Subscriptions and AI credits are bought through Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. To know which plan you have, we use RevenueCat, which receives your purchase records from Google Play and an anonymous ID for your account. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
7. Device permissions
The app asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it.

8. Services we use
We share data with these providers only so the app can work. They process it on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes, except as their own terms describe.
- Supabase — database, file storage and sign-in for accounts.
- Brevo — sends account emails, such as sign-up and password-reset codes.
- Google — Google sign-in, if you choose it; Gemini for AI features; Google Play for purchases.
- RevenueCat — keeps track of your subscription.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and our email address.
- open.er-api.com — exchange rates. The app asks for the latest rates; no personal data is sent.
These providers may store data outside the Lao PDR. We don't use analytics, crash-tracking or advertising services, in the app or on this website.
We may disclose data if the law requires it. We never sell your data.
9. Security
Data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Each account's data is separated on the server so one account can't read another's. You can also lock the app with your phone's own fingerprint, face or PIN.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you.
10. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account exists.
- Deleting an entry removes it from your phones and our servers once it syncs.
- Signing out removes your data from that phone. It stays in your account.
- Deleting your account removes your account, your financial records, your receipt and profile photos, and your plan and AI usage records from our servers straight away. Copies in our providers' routine backups are removed within 30 days. Purchase records kept by Google Play and RevenueCat follow their own retention rules.
- Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on that phone.

11. Your choices
- Use the app without an account.
- See and change your data in the app at any time, and export it as PDF or CSV.
- Turn off AI features, bank notifications and reminders in Settings.
- Delete your account and its data in the app, or by emailing us.
For any other request about your data, email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
12. Children's privacy
Finaxio is meant for adults managing their own money and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
13. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
